Problem

Are the 7.x client releases compatible with the 8.2 release of the Reporting Server?

Solution

Older releases of the WebFOCUS Client, including Developer Studio and some iWay clients are not compatible with the 8.2 release of the Reporting Server. As of release 8.2, Developer Studio was replaces with App Studio. Changes in the WebFOCUS products require the release of the Reporting Server and WebFOCUS products to be at the same release and gen to avoid capatibility issues.
