TIBCO WebFOCUS provides an intuitive search functionality that allows you to quickly access content across the repository.
The Search text bar can be found in the Home, Workspaces, and Portals areas of the start page.
To run a simple search query, start typing a keyword inside the text bar. Notice that the drop-down list immediately offers suggestions based on the characters you entered.

Each workspace in the repository comes with the private My Content folder. Whenever you create content inside the My Content folder, it automatically displays in the My workspace view of the Home area. This content remains private and only visible to you unless you share it with other users and groups. You can share content in one of two ways:

Using a text bar found in the Home, Portals, and Workspaces areas of your WebFOCUS start page, you can enter a search term to quickly display all content items that match that term. The interactive search engine updates the suggestions as you type, so you can find the desired item fast.

Your WebFOCUS start page is the central location for all WebFOCUS tasks. Setting it up in a way that is convenient, secure, and efficient helps you get the most out of your work. The Workspaces area opens the content section and provides access to the available workspaces. Workspaces and folders that are located in the Resources tree organize all of your content items. Authorized users can create additional workspaces or folders, as well as customize the default structure of their view.
You can create a list of favorites to easily access the items that are most important to you. When you save content as a favorite, it automatically appears in the Favorites view of the Home area. Here, you can interact with your content and view its properties.
The Workspaces area is where most of your content management takes place. Here, you can organize your repository structure, create and interact with content items, create sample content, work with data, and perform other tasks. The Workspaces area is shown in the following image.

The Portals area displays all the portals that are currently available in your repository in one centralized location. Depending on your permissions, you can run and edit a portal from this directory. You can also add a portal to Favorites and view its properties. An example of the Portals area is shown in the following image.
The Management Center area contains tools for configuring your WebFOCUS® Reporting Server and TIBCO WebFOCUS® Client administrative options. This directory is only visible to administrators.

You can launch WebFOCUS from any web browser, using the address created during the installation. The sign-in page and default start page may be different depending on the configuration requirements of your organization.
