You can create calculations from the data that exists to automate summations and other mathematical tasks related to your data fields. You can create the following types of calculations:

Welcome to this video on the link tile widget in WebFOCUS Designer.

The link tile widget provides additional innovative ways of using your content and incorporating it into your Designer page.
You can access the link tile widget from the Container tab of the Sidebar.

There are two types of maps: Choropleth and Proportional Symbol , or bubble, maps. Choropleth maps are useful for visualizing location-based data, trends, and distributions across a geographic area. Bubble maps focus on specific points. The size of the bubble varies depending on the underlying data.

Now that we’ve created pages in our portal, let’s see how it looks.  Notice that each page is listed on the toolbar, and menus allow us to access pages in different folders.

You may notice that when you run a portal, a fixed URL is used. Anyone that has this URL can access your portal. This allows you to protect sensitive information and share it only with a specific group of users that you define.

If you’d like to group your content in a single application you can create a Portal with pages of related content. A portal is a folder structure to which you can add multiple pages with the option to build them on the same level or in a hierarchy.

Let’s create a portal. On the Home Page, select the Workspaces view. Choose the workspace in which you want to create the portal, and then on the Action Bar, click Portal.

Depending on your environment, the Portal option may appear on the Application tab.
