Problem

DataMigrator flows do not complete and no information is displayed in the DataMigrator log.

Solution

The FDS Special Service is crashing. This is preventing the DataMigrator log from being written by the flows and is causing them to wait or hang. This will also result in no log data being available when trying to retrieve them.

In most cases, the ETLLOG and/or ETLSTATS files are corrupt and need to be recreated from the Web Console's Workspace page. Here are the steps to accomplish this:

  1. Select Logs and Traces
  2. Select DataMigrator Log and Statistics and choose Recreate.
