How to enable the drilldown option on layers in a Choropleth map when the color bucket is disabled.

Solution

Here are the steps to enable the drilldown option on layers in a Choropleth map:



    
	
  1. Create a new IA chart.
    2. 
	
  2. Select the Format tab.
    3. 
	
  3. Click on Choropleth Map.
    4. 
	
  4. Add one dimension (geo field) and a measure field (Dimension field placed under Layer bucket and measure field under Color bucket).
    5. 
	
  5. Click the Measure field in the Color bucket. There is a link to create a drill down in the menu bar.
    6. 




If you want to navigate through different levels within the dimension hierarchy of your data source, you can use thew Autodrill function. It is located in the Format tab under Run with groups.
