Problem

The profile's APP PATH in a group is not respected.

Solution

A group profile defines the APP PATH. The Reporting Server contains several Security Providers and the Group Profile does not have the expected security provider prefix as part of the name. For example, provider_ProfileName



Creating the user or group profile can be accomplished without manual coding which avoids the group profile name issue.



Here are the steps to address this:



    
	
  1. Access your Web Console's Access Control page.
    2. 
	
  2. Right-click on a security user or group name.
    3. 
	
  3. Select Application Path.
    4. 
	
  4. Use the resulting page or panels to set the APP PATH.
    5. 
	
  5. Click Save.
    6. 




This creates a profile that is properly prefixed with the security provider.
