Symptom

(FOC1671) SET SERVER xxx COMMAND FOR SQLORA INTERFACE OUT OF SEQUENCE

Problem

Test of adapters from the Web Console adapters page is successful, but running applications that reference them results in the error message above.

Solution

A review of the configuration identified that a -EXIT command was present in the edasprof.prf and it was located before the adapter connection strings. As a result, none of the adapters were processed and are therefore not being found.

Removing the -EXIT command from the edasprof.prf file resolved the issue.
