User receives error using Db2 Extender after WebFOCUS upgrade: FOC205 DESCRIPTION CANNOT BE FOUND

Symptom

(FOC205) THE DESCRIPTION CANNOT BE FOUND FOR FILE NAMED:

Problem

The user receives the error message above using a Db2 Extender to test an applications after a WebFOCUS upgrade.

Solution

The error occurs because the wrong Reporting Server is being accessed. The first node of the communication configuration file (EDACS3) was not correct. By design, the first node of the EDACS3 file is what is connected to by Db2 Extender. Specifying the correct information for the first node of the EDACS3 file resolved the issue.
