Symptom

Error Code: 302. Error description was not found

Problem

The user receives the error message above when using the Data Management Console (DMC) to connect to a WebFOCUS Reporting Server.

Solution

Reviewing the connection properties for the Reporting Server within the Data Management Console shows the credentials are incorrect. Specifying the correct credentials resolved the issue.
