Symptom

(FOC11201)  Initialize Error. Datasource: xxxx

Problem

The user receives the error messages above when attempting to connect to TM1 data if the OPSYS Security Provider is disabled and LDAP is active.

Solution

The ID that is attempting to connect is a Domain ID and requires the OPSYS provider. Enabling OPSYS security resolved the issue.
