(FOC1500) : (260) [HYP000] SAP DBTech JDBC:[260]: invalid column name: T1.MANDT

Problem

The user receives the error messages above running queries against an existing SAP Synonym.

Solution

Some of the column names within the SAP table were renamed. Correcting the SAP table so the original column names were restored resolved the issue. If the table's column name changes need to be permanent, recreating the synonym would be the solution.
