(FOC299) Unrecognized format of amper variable in -READ:
-READ HIGHPID &HIGHPID.A23

Problem

The user receives the errors above when running DataMigrator Flows that update the Log and Statistics files.

Solution

Any procedure that uses a -READ and syntax to specify a format encounters the issue. For example, the following where xx is an integer value used to specify the length: -READ &VARIABLE.Axx

Removing the SET DMH = OLD from the DataMigrator Server's edasprof.prf file and restarting the workspace resolved the issue.
