Symptom

(FOC1261) PHYSICAL INTERFACE NOT FOUND FOR SUFFIX SQLIIA. MODULE NAME : ODB3FOC

(FOC1262) NATIVE ERROR MESSAGE(S) :

(FOC1260) /opt/ibi/srv82/home/bin/libodb3foc.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Problem

The user receives the error messages above when attempting to test the IBM i Access ODBC adapter.

Solution

The IBM I Access ODBC driver is not installable on Linux and cannot be used. Instead, remove the IBM i Access ODBC adapter and add the IBM I Access JDBC adapter.
