What is the prefix..PDS.WFS.DATA(AADAPTER) file used for In a PDS Deployed Reporting Server and what impact does it have on the Reporting Server's configured adapters?

Solution

The AADAPTER member indicates what adapters are configured during the ISETUP installation process. It has no impact on the Reporting Server after that point. Since adapters can be added or removed afterward, it is not a good file to reference.

The EDASERVE member is the configuration file where the adapters are specified. This would be the file to review to see what is in use for a particular Reporting Server.
