Video: Accessing Global Resources

In the WebFOCUS Home Page, In the Workspaces view, you can access the Global Resources folder.  This folder contains files that are used to style and format your content in WebFOCUS Designer and Portal Page Designer. This folder is grouped into three subfolders. The Page Templates subfolder contains Page Templates that you can use in WebFOCUS Designer when you create a page. The Standard subfolder contains the templates that come with WebFOCUS, while the Custom subfolder allows you to create a new page layout to use as a template using WebFOCUS Designer. The Page Templates (Legacy) subfolder also contains a Standard and Custom folder. These contain default templates and allow you to create custom templates for a Portal Page as part of a Collaborative Portal. The Themes subfolder contains themes that you can use in your pages to configure their style and appearance.  These are in the cascading style sheet format. You can see the themes that come with WebFOCUS Designer in the Standard subfolder, and you can create a new CSS theme in the Custom subfolder using the Editor. As with any WebFOCUS content, you can use security settings to control how users can interact with the content in the Global Resources folder.
