Welcome to App Studio, which provides a variety of tools that you can use to access your existing data, create content with it, and combine that content based on your needs. 
You can access these tools using the Application menu, the Quick Access Toolbar, the ribbon, and the Environments Tree.
The Environments Tree shows all of your configured environments – WebFOCUS Environments that you have connected to at some point.  Connecting to a WebFOCUS environment allows you to access content in the Domains of the Environments Tree.

Video: How to Use Favorites

You can customize your Home Page by using Favorites. 

The Favorites feature provides a convenient and fast way to find and use your favorite content, without having to search for it.

From the Home Page, Favorites appear in the Favorites view.
    
From the Legacy Home Page, Favorites appear in the Resources tree.

Favorites can be reports, graphs, hyperlinks, Reporting Objects, and other item types. 

You can add items to Favorites from any domain or folder if you have permission to do so. 

Video: How to Access Web Content and Global Resources

In the WebFOCUS Home Page, you can create new content, such as charts, reports, visualizations, pages, and schedules, in the Domains area.  However, you can also access the Web Content and Global Resources folders.  These folders allow you toquickly and easily access content saved outside your WebFOCUS Repository.

The Web Content folder lists applications that are located on the WebFOCUS Client. 

Video: How to Use Search Options in the WebFOCUS Home Page

You can use advanced search options in the WebFOCUS Home Page to make your searches more precise in order to find the content that you want more quickly.

To access advanced search options, click the down arrow at the right of the search field.  You can specify the area where your search term appears, the type of file that you are searching for, and the matching behavior for the search term.

Video: How to Create Content Using Wizards

The goal of this video is to show you how you can create content using the wizards in App Studio.
App Studio uses numerous wizards that streamline the content creation process by providing you with a series of customization options before you begin developing.
Depending on what content you are creating, the wizard will be different. However, all wizards allow you to select the location where you want to create your content and they list recently used content.

Video: How to Use Panels in App Studio

This video introduces the basic information about panels and how to customize them. It also shows you how to access panels or remove them from view. 
The first panel you see when you open the AppStudio workspace is the Environments Tree panel, which allows you to view, modify and create content in your environments.  By default it is located on the left side of your screen.
You can change the position of any panel by clicking the arrow button, located in the upper right corner of the panel container.

Video: How to Use the Quick Access Toolbar

The goal of this video is to introduce the Quick Access Toolbar. You will learn how to access and customize the Quick Access Toolbar.
The Quick Access Toolbar is located in the upper-left corner of App Studio, next to the Application Button. It gives you access to frequently used commands.
By default, the toolbar includes the Open, Save, Save All, Quick Print, Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, and Run commands.

This video introduces the new Accessible property for HTML pages.  This property controls how screen readers, such as JAWS, read your HTML pages, ensuring that your content is accessible to everyone.
You can configure an HTML page so that the screen reader reads your content from left-to-right and top-to-bottom by setting the Accessible property for the HTML page.  

Video: How to Configure a Custom WebFOCUS Home Page

Hello. In this video we would like to show the Redirect /ibi_apps setting and the set of options it contains that allow administrators to configure where they want to direct users when they sign into WebFOCUS. 
The location defined in these options applies to all users, regardless of whether they sign into WebFOCUS from the main sign-in page, a custom sign-in page, or the sign-in page of a pre-authentication provider.
The WebFOCUS Home Page contains many new features and uses a modern design that works well on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
